Typically, the patio is adjacent to the house and it offers spectacular views of the garden. Sometimes it is in the garden in an atmosphere of solitude. Being a visual continuation of the house, the patio should constitute a single stylistic ensemble with it. At the same time, it is a smooth transition from home to garden, a link between architecture and landscape. In modern gardens, the geometry of the patio can be anything. In contrast with the forms of the house – round, oval or with smooth edges. The patio in the plan can consist of several rectangles, or it can be a combination of different geometric shapes. Such a complex layout makes it possible to form different functional zones within the site itself.
WOOD PORCHES
The railing around the perimeter without necessary is not worth to do it, as they prevent access to the garden. If, nevertheless, their presence makes sense, it is worth including them in a single design with benches. Often the role of the sides is played by a green hedge or dense rocker landing.The plants play a significant role here, linking the rest area to the rest of the garden.
The entire range of materials used for garden coverings is used in the patio. But combinations of different coatings look especially impressive. The combination of materials form a picture. It can be functional – just separate the different areas of the patio. For example, a place around a barbecue or garden fireplace is laid out with flat pebbles, and a platform for a garden table with benches is wooden flooring. A decorative pattern in the form of strict geometric shapes or intricate patterns is also possible. The interspersed mosaics look great.
PATIO FOR PARTY
Do not forget that the patio should be combined or contain elements of home decoration. For example, next to a brick house, a site with clinker parts will look more. With a log house, a wooden deck with stone sides looks harmoniously. If the house is plastered, a material identical to the stone base is used in the patio.
